Andie (Briana Evigan) was in the 410 dance team, which always created chaos when they danced in the street. To stay in Baltimore, Andie had to go to dance school MSA in town. Since then, she could not rehearse with the 410 people and was finally disowned by them. With the help of Chase (Robert Hoffman), she had a new dance team with people of unusual characters and talents. Their dance was not the kind approved by the school, and Andie was expelled for causing trouble. At the night of the fund-raiser for MSA, it was the dance competition of the Street. Despite the "ineligibility" of Andie and company, they did a good dance and impressed many.

The story is predictable and follow pretty much a formula of films with dance as the main theme. Script-writing is mediocre, pretty much like stage drama at the wrong place. However, the comedy bits are funny, and the dances were good. With that said, the dances are the materials to appreciate in the film. For the rest, you may safely ignore them.
