此片的橋段其實一點也不新鮮，但表達方式風趣惹笑，是意料之外。故事雖然脫離現實，但在描寫愛情態度時又現實非常。片中死去未婚妻的角色那種既想最愛的找到幸福，但又妒忌其另結新歡的矛盾心情；男主角新歡對愛情的進取態度及男主角在未婚妻死後雖然傷心好一段時間，但亦並不是抱著此生不娶的堅持，都充份反映時下男女對愛情的心態。

三位主角的表現都很出色，沒有誇張，平實得來令人看得舒服。劇情流暢輕快，不經不覺已到結尾，但以西片而言，其放映時間比一般西片為短（似港產片多些）。

有時，要經歷過才知自己對愛情有多偉大，像片中死去未婚妻的角色，大概連她本身也意外自己願意拱手相讓至愛於她人（仲要係其貌不揚的神婆），如果你是她，你願意嗎？
