Miss Pettigrew (Frances McDormand) was fired from her job. While she was in an employment agency, he found that Delysia (Amy Adams), a film starlet on the rise, was looking for a social secretary. With no knowledge about what the job was, she was lucky enough to help Delysia to solve a lot of her guy situations. Pettigrew helped her to find her destiny, while she also ended up with a fairy-tale story ending.

The story is very interesting. It is entertainment (pun intended) from the start to the end. Although Pettigrew is not the kind of lovely woman on the surface, she does appear to be lovely her own way. Amy Adams is deliciously beautiful in the film, and fits quite well into the role of Delysia who has trouble to select her own man.

All in all, entertaining and fun.
