讓我先說說此片內容：主角自幼家貧，有一個不稱職的母親，但天生擁有一副好歌喉及瘦削身型，從小於街頭賣唱；小女孩長大後成為知名歌星，受不了壓力染上毒癮，惜情路坎坷，最後患癌去世。以上情節令你想起誰？原來世上會有如此巧合的事，是否某人的命運在輪回不斷發生？此部法國片敘述的，當然不是我們香港令人想念的天后，而是五十年代法國歌后EditfPiaf的一生。

大慨是Edift的一生實在太精彩，再加上主角細膩的演釋，導演簡單的敘述手法已令影片的節奏緊迫，沒有悶場。

我在想，下一世的歌后又會在那個地方出現？
