The Simpsons的作者在成名後顯然仍懂得接觸普羅大眾，此部大電影仍見其啜核抵死對白。笑料不集中在美式笑話，盡現作者精密計算之能事。他以環保做背景橋段，堵塞被譏評為無聊故事的機會。
片末roller經用心編排，一部卡通有笑有意義，夫復何求？
