通常電影去到第四集觀眾都不會寄予厚望，認為要出的都應該出了。但虎膽龍威4。0可說是例外，其故事背景與時並進，環繞電腦網絡的入侵。片中不只是說入侵國防部，而是關於整個國家大型設施網絡。玩得幾大，提醒各位電腦網絡的可怕。

演員方面，處處盡是surprise！年過五十的主角布斯韋利士依然勇猛，實在要為他的表現渴采。Maggie Q打到飛起，而且身手硬朗，外國的觀眾應該很難想像她之前是一位模特兒吧！

電影節奏急速，一開始已很快入正題，緊張至片末，縱使劇情總是型造主角打不死的"神話"。

最差是電影宣傳海報，行貨得很。
