《UA93》以鈙事形式表達，由恐怖份子於酒店出發往機場開始，繼而描述各乘客上機前的鎖碎事情及心情。全片沒有太多背景音；演員都是陌生的面孔。此乃導演刻意營造，讓觀眾有身歷其景的感覺。有乘客意識到劫機的真正目的是撞向政府建築物，奮不顧身的與恐怖份子硬拼，說穿了還不是為求自保。空軍總指揮被突如奇來的災難事故殺個措手不及，只懂下令截擊被騎劫客機，但截擊到又如何？況且當時跟本沒有人可證實那些偏離航道的飛機就是被騎劫客機，一切只是條件反射下的意識形態。總統於世貿中心被撞後下令射擊UA93，空軍最後並沒有遵從指示，總統是冷血的果斷？空軍是優悠寡斷的仁慈？

經過數年時間的洗禮，以美國911事件為背景的電影開始出籠。要勾起各人的傷痛神經，要看值得與否，此片故事雖然是平鋪直述，其背後帶出的，正正是從這次災難要涉取的教訓。其他純為賺錢而以911作背景的，請自求多福。
