In the past, we had films about places infested with rats and spiders.
Now this film is about a snake-infested plane.
Sean (Nathan Jones) witnessed a murder performed by Korean-American
mafia head Eddie Kim. As a result, Kim sent his men to kill Sean.
Before they could succeed, FBI agent Neville (Samuel L. Jackson)
saved him, and made him to go to Los Angeles as a witness for Kim's
investigation. Kim then asked his men to down the flight that Sean
and Neville were in so that there would be no witness for his crime.
Many passengers died because of snake bites. Neville had to make
sure that Sean would arrive at Los Angeles safely so that the victims
would not be dying for nothing…
This film is surely entertaining. The chemistry is quite tense
during almost the entire film. However, it is a bit disappointing
that the film is mostly selling fear and blood. Also, I am disappointed
that the mix of the passengers is quite unreal in that there were
almost no families on the plane except a pair of brothers, so that
practically nobody was mourning when others were dying. But like
I said, the film is entertaining and is worth to watch if you want
to kill some time.
