探討人與人溝通的戲多不勝數。這個題材尤其適合小本製作，因所需的場景道具不多。而這套也不例外。現今社會資訊科技發達，與越洋的人溝通多了，反而少了與同一屋簷下的人溝通。片中女主角有點我行我素，積極主動態度在戲中被視為異類。這點倒令筆者有點驚訝，因印象中美國人活在強調自由的國度內，我行我素有點天經地義，原來東西方的世界並非大不同。
片中最搶鏡的，首推飾演細佬的小演員，其真緻而自然的演出博取了不少觀眾的掌聲。其他演員也很稱職。或許是鄉村地方，片中演員的造型仍停留在70年代，令人有點吃不消。或許這更令觀眾集中思索此片帶出的訊息。
