或許是加菲貓聞名於其短篇漫畫，或許是筆者覺得其電影中的加菲貓外型始終點睇都唔似原裝加菲貓，所以無論是第一集還是此第二集，仍是勾不起絲毫興趣。故事以老掉牙的王子與乞丐為藍本。此乃無可口非，君不見三色台又播新版神鵰俠侶，以確保每個年代的青少年都會有機會"認識"金庸這本名著？

加菲貓以其大食懶性格聞名，但片中的加菲貓實在過於人化，一點貓兒本色也難看出來。大概導演以至編劇都不是養貓之人，所以都不知道貓兒的特性。

另外一樣令筆者很討厭的，就是女主角繼續常以低胸裝出場。大佬呀！呢套擺明係細佬仔電影，唔該收歛下啦！等下次講阿加菲貓去左非洲先著成咁啦！狗狗阿的繼續係片中蠢下蠢下，其原著的佢應該係成日烚熟狗頭咁笑。電影中既阿的就好似一隻自閉的狗。

男主角唔靚仔，女主角又姣婆扮淑女，加菲貓又唔似加菲貓，阿的又唔似阿的。即係話大人，細路，加菲貓迷，貓迷，狗迷都唔駛睇。咁，究竟套戲比乜野人睇？
