The film is a 21st Century version of "Indian Jones". It consists of the generic elements of caper movies and action films. Story causality is tightly coupled and the progression is perpetuated by a cue leading to further cues that create an elongated suspension under fast cutting and pacing throughout the screen time. The narrative starts with a flashback sequence in a single plot. No sooner after the camera moves back to the present than the plot proliferates into 2 parallel plots of the good guys and bad guys. Cross-editing is used fairly intensively to sway among the protagonists in developing the story. However, as the substances and tricks are too generic to the genre, the diegesis and the epilogue do not bring any surprise to the viewer. The theme also encompasses traces of Americanism. This movie would be fine for those viewers who merely seek visual excitement. Those who look for dramaturgical contrivance or filmic contraption are surely to be disappointed.
