Los Muertos is about Vargas (Argentino Vargas), a murderer released from prison, trying to go back home to see his daughter. The film is one of the most boring films I have ever seen. Maybe it is just I who do not know how to appreciate the film. Not much happened during the 78-minute screening. A 5-minute short can show the same amount of content. The film features some unimportant but nasty scenes: Vargas raiding a beehive and Vargas killing a goat (one scene draining blood from the cut throat and another taking out the internal organs and throwing them into the stream). All these scenes are disturbing and unnecessary (Maybe somebody would find those interesting(?)). Also forgotten to tell, there is no ending to the story. I don't know, you make the call...
