Cho-won (Seung-woo Cho) was an autistic boy. His mother (Mi-suk Kim) found that he loved running after winning a middle-distance race. She found him a coach to train him run. In the end, Cho-won ran a Marathon with exceptional time.
Like other Korean films, this film is quite an emotional one, especially towards the end when the mother questioned the value of letting Cho-won run and Cho-won ran his exceptionally well in his Marathon race.
The film talks about the importance of diligence in achieving personal milestones, and that the innate incapability is second to that. As always, I believe there is truth in the statement, and in this case it is verified by Cho-won's passion to succeed. The film also explored the characteristics of people with autism. At first, Cho-won, despite liking the coach, did not want to share anything with him. That is one characteristic of such people. Probably the more important thing is that they can have achievement like every one else, too.
I think that the film is good to watch and is of good quality. I recommend this film to whoever wants to watch a good film.
