《可可西里》是一套不可多得的電影，題材單純得很，描述一班愛護可可西里及藏羚羊的人，拚命追捕藏羚羊獵人。全片就是像紀錄片般平鋪直鈙其追捕過程，但其中卻剖析追捕者、獵人、及國家對此事的心態。事情再不是只有黑與白，留有空間讓觀眾深思。
眾演員的表現自然流暢，具真實感。唯故事是改編自真有其事，記者最後僥倖生存而揭發此事有點匪夷所思。
