Paolo (Andrea Rossi) was a handicapped child abandoned by his father Gianni (Kim Rossi Stuart) at birth. 15 years after Paolo's birth, Gianni regretted the abandoning and took care of Paolo again and tried to rebuild the father-son relationship with Paolo, although Paolo did not know Gianni was his father at first. The journey was a rough one: Paolo needed a lot of care, and Paolo resent his father's abandoning him.
The story is an emotional one. Andrea Rossi was a real handicapped child. Looking at him would probably melt your heart. The acting is very good. The story was supported by the appearance of Charlotte Rampling's character Nicole who had to take care of her handicapped daughter Nadine (Alla Faerovich). All in all, it is a touching film that a lot of people will enjoy.
