《捉迷藏》無論是戲名、宣傳海報、片頭報幕及預告片都非常出色，可惜此片雷聲大，雨點小，驚嚇不足，節奏慢，故事劇情似曾相識，以為帶觀眾遊花園，不防其"意外結局"在其他電影中已多次運用（例如：《鬼眼》、《不速之嚇》、《天使愛過界》；曾觀看這些電影的觀眾該明白筆者所指的"意外結局"是何意思），對觀眾已再無驚喜。最有睇頭只有那位小女主角。第二女主角依莉莎伯於寒冷天氣中仍堅持低胸，於驚慄片中賣弄姿色，並不協調。幸好此女人於片中戲份不多。筆者最有興趣反而是影帝羅拔迪尼路為何會接拍此片。一向選片精明的他今尚可謂老貓燒鬚。
