Elektra (Jennifer Garner) was sent to a remote island to murder an unknown target. She met Mark Miller (Goran Visnjic) and his daughter Abby Miller (Kirsten Pout) where they spent Christmas Eve together. Later, Elektra found out that her target was the Millers. She decided not to kill them and was about to leave. She figured out that there would be more assassinators to come after them. So, she decided to protect them, despite that she does not know why they had to be killed. At this time, the Hand sent two men to kill them. They escaped and she took them to her agent McCabe (Colin Cunningham)'s house. The Hand was not going to stop the hunt…

"Elektra" is another Fox-Marvel co-production after films like Daredevil and X-Men. Although, unlike Daredevil, Elektra is far from a superhero(ine), the feel of this film is not much different than the other two: very comic. The beginning of the film is kind of boring and does not make total sense to me. However, as the story progresses, the film becomes more interesting and entertaining. Still, the behaviors of the characters do not make total sense. Any sane person in Elektra's position would not take the Millers to McCabe. McCabe's fate could have been very different if the screenwriter bothered to put some senses in the story. There are many other similar situations. Is it because the story is just comic?

Anyway, if you do not take your brain into the theater, you would probably be satisfied with the intensity and the visuals of the film.
