Victor was about to marry Victoria with the arrangement of their parents. Victor was from a suddenly-got-rich family and Victoria was from a noble but poor family. Victor's parents wanted the marriage to get them into the world of high society, while Victoria's family wanted the marriage to get them out of poverty. Victor was nervous and could not remember his vow, so he went outside to recite it. Accidentally, he was married to Emily, the dead bride who waited for her groom who never came in the graveyard…
Technically, it is a very well made animation. The movements and facial expressions of the characters are so real. The story is not exceptional, but it is entertaining enough that there is not a minute of boredom, and probably would touch the heart of a lot of people. The decision made by Victor was admirable. And Emily's wish to marry her man was touching.
Corpse Bride is definitely good entertainment, a good film to watch.
