This is a GC assisted flick in an unrestricted narrative which is too straight forward that it does not create suspense sufficient to generate tension to the viewer. The diegesis is too simple and many substances that could have been further exploited or twisted are not developed at all, rendering the film vainglorious. Neither hermeneutics nor surprise is established. The TV vampire series in HK are far more interesting and entertaining than this film. Notable enough is that, be it a humour or not, vampire Drake is found in Iraq whereas biological weapon can annihilate vampires.
