Movie Star Jack Wyatt (Will Ferrel), after starring in a failed Vietnam film, was going to star in a TV series "Bewitched" which was to be a remake of the popular TV series of the same name of the 1960s. He did not want any big star to opposite him as Samantha, the witch wife. One day, he ran into Isabel Bigalow (Nicole Kidman) and he wanted her to be his co-star. Isabel was a witch in the real world, too, and she was looking for real love in the real world. She was fascinated by the idea of being in a film having a close relationship with a husband. So she agreed. Now long after the starting of the filming, her rating was high while his rating was low. For some reason, she was fed up and quitted the show…

The film was not quite the style of Nicole Kidman's. With big names like Michael Caine and Shirley MacLaine also in the film, you would expect a lot. Unfortunately, Bewitched is not that kind of film. It is a plain comedy without much of anything else. This is a little bit of turnoff. However, Kidman's performance is still stunning, and the film in general is funny and an easy film to watch. If you are just looking for some fun, Bewitched is not a bad choice.
