第28屆香港國際電影節電影
The main characters of the story are two camels, a mother and a son. The brown camel mother gave birth to a white camel colt. As the young colt look different, the mother did not like him at all and refused to feed milk to him. Her rancher, in the middle of the desert of Mongolia, went into town to invite a musician to perform music therapy to the mother. The story is more interesting to listen to than to watch. The film is very slow, and the actors' performance was not up to standard (How much can we expect from those inexperienced Mongolian actors?) What really interest me are the shots of the birth and how the filmmakers can make this film happen. No one can ever make a brown camel to give birth to a while colt. Do they have a story first or do they change the story to fit the reality? |
