《倒數追凶》開頭的節奏輕鬆中有點慢，半小時後故事便開始步入正題。Danzel Washington再次主演他那拿手與時間競賽的角色，飾演因愚昧而令自己身陷險境的Matt。劇情多番令觀眾錯摸，而當中不失有攪笑的場面，算是Danzel給大家的一個小驚喜。筆者欣賞片中帶出勿攪婚外情訊息之方法，有說服力之餘亦令人看得舒服、易於接受。
Danzel 於處理救助無緩的內心戲非常出色，在此片中亦不例外。雖然面部表情不多，但他從其眼神亦可令觀眾感受到其角色的情緒。
