Eliza Doolittle (Audrey Hepburn), a Cockney flower girl, wanted Professor Henry Higgins (Rex Harrison), a phonetics professor, to teach her speak proper English so that she could get better work. He had a wager with Colonel Pickering (Wilfrid Hyde-White) that he could turn Eliza into a high-class socialite. When the test was over, Eliza worried about her future…

Originally released in 1964, the film has been restored and now re-released. The film was originally made in 70mm films. As a result, the quality of the picture is much better than most other films. The film is, apart from other genres, a musical. The music and lyrics are well-written and very entertaining. Of course, the fair lady Eliza played by Audrey Hepburn is the focus of the film. Although she looked much older than she was supposed to be (She was 35 and the character was 21), her acting was what made the film a vibrant one. No wonder she is an all-time favorite of many people.
