The story of the film is quite of the old age: A woman who was about to die gives her child to the child's father who knew nothing about the child's birth. Some people may like this kind of films, especially for those who cry easily. However, the acting of the film would make you feel very differently. The film features unnatural and cheesy dialog and also emotionless faces for awkward moments. The production of the Hong Kong version was also ruined by the poor sound and quality of the Cantonese dubbing. The presentation of the film reminds me of Hong Kong film of the 70s. In sum, I do not think the film will last long here.
