《愛•作戰》片首描述的，是一段普通不過的愛|情，像是你與我都會經歷的。然而一宗失車及悍匪械劫案，令普通愛情激變為偉大、無私的愛。原因雖然是誇了一點，但不失為一部創新的悲情片。導演鄭保瑞以往善於拍攝驚慄片，在此片中也不忙露兩手，仍能乘觀眾不避，技術依然出色。陳奕迅及周麗淇表演稱職，唯故事為了有高潮迭起的效果，陳奕迅多次逃走不果則有點牽強。
此片要傳遞的訊息，明顯非常，又是"珍惜眼前人" 。
