This film is not about Las Vegas, or about the financial market. It is about how to deal with love.

Halley (Mandy Moore)'s father Len (Peter Gallagher) was about the get married. So was her sister Lydia (Allison Janney). Halley, who thought that relationships were awful because of the divorce of her parents, panicked when she learned that two people close to her was getting married at about the same time. She met Macon (Trent Ford) whom she liked very much. She kept their friendship as friendship, although they together tried to explore things much closer. Meanwhile, Len eloped with his fiancˆme, and Lydia's wedding was about to be called off. The whole situation is getting Halley more confused than ever before.

According to the poll conducted in Internet Movie Database, guys and girls' opinions about the film are quite different. Girls tend to like the film more. Surely, the film feels like a girl's one. Also, the opinions for guys are quite extreme. They either like it very much or hate it very much. This is quite an interesting phenomenon.

The film discusses the value of love, and the pros and cons of relationships. The theme is quite cheesy, as a matter of fact, but the story is interesting enough to attract the audience's attention.

Note: The review is for the newly released DVD of the film. The film was not released in theaters in Hong Kong. According to the distributor, the decision of not theatrical release was due to parallel imports.
