Yan (Jordan Chan) was a stuntman who was dating emerging actress Linda (Li Li Li). He rented an apartment near the herbal tea shop of Lam (Candy Lo). Linda began to date a rich guy after a trip to South Africa. Yan was devastated. Lam consoled him, and they began to develop a relationship. Meanwhile, Linda broke up with the rich guy and tried to get back with Yan. Yan had to choose between the two girls…
The plot of the film is quite cheesy. I can live with that. However, after Yan had made his decision, the story continues with an uninteresting development, where the part is basically un-film-worthy and is worse than being a time-killer. The film is 90 munutes long. Perhaps the last 15 minutes is a waste of resources. The whole story happened around an herbal tea shop. However, the writers did not pay much effort in understanding herbal tea, nor did they pay any effort to let the audience understand more. I want to ask: Why herbal tea, then?
If you are just looking for laughs, though, it is an okay film. At least, the development of the story is with reason.
