Married teacher Flavia (Josie Ho), after being courted by a younger girl Ye (Yuan Tian), had her lesbian nature resurfaced. She faced the dilemma of whether to betray her husband or her feeling toward Ye. At the same time, she felt sorry for what she did to her former classmate/girlfriend Zhenzhen. She wanted to know the truth about whether her breaking of Zhenzhen's heart when they were younger was the reason that Zhenzhen turned into a nun in Macau.
This film is Josie Ho's second attempt to act as a lesbian in a film. Like before, she did pretty well in her role. The story, apart from the first encounter of Flavia and Ye, was complete and quite convincing. The story depicts the dilemma faced by lesbians in the modern society, where on one hand they want to fit into it by having a heterosexual relationship, and on the other hand they have to face their own desires. I believe the director and screenwriter did a pretty good job in this respect.
Although this is a gay/lesbian film, it does not give me a negative feeling. Perhaps there is not really a male role in the relationship between the girls, or because of something else. It is easy to watch and you will probably feel something from Flavia's role. In general, it is not a bad film at all.
