Wan (Shan Shan Chan), after splitting up with her married boyfriend, was on her way for a trip to Cairo. After missing her flight, she decided to spend her holiday away from home anyway, and she went to stay on Lantau Island, where she met Sin (Josie Ho). For a short while they became close friends, and they explored something even closer. Afterwards, Sin left the Island, and she asked her brother King (Jimmy Lam) to take care of Wan. He took Wan to the Lantau Peak, where he told her his stories back in his childhood.

This film is an independent film, the third episode of the trilogy of director Bryan Chang. The story explores relationships, both lesbian and heterosexual. However, the theme is a bit vague. But maybe it is just me who cannot grasp it. The acting of the protagonists, except for Josie Ho who is experienced, is somewhat mediocre. The film is independent and the actors and actresses are new, in any case.

Perhaps director/screenwriter Bryan Chang could not make the script long enough (the film is barely 90 minutes), there are a number of scenes which do nothing but to kill time. Some shots (like Wan's ferry leaving the pier) not only kill time but were also not well shot. Of course, budget was a constraint, which is understandable. However, I would rather watch a shorter film with a faster pace. A short film was also forced into story, which lasted too long to be in another film.

If you like independent films, though, you should probably watch it despite all the flaws that I have mentioned. It is surely a film with sincerity. Also, if you have watched the other 2 episodes of the trilogy, there is no reason why you should not watch the third one.
