Freddy (Robert Englund) of "A Nightmare On Elm Street" series wanted to kill in people's dreams again, but he lacked the power to do so. So, he resurrected Jason (Ken Kirzinger) of "Friday The 13th" series to kill for him to increase his own power. However, Jason became uncontrollable, and took away all the credit for killing the teens in the town. As a result, Freddy decided to take on Jason…

The story is an interesting crossover of the two abovementioned series. The focus of the film is more on action, the fighting between the two monsters. This is no surprise if you take into account the fact that the film is directed by Hong Kong's Ronny Yu, who is a master in kung fu films. Horror, although presents in the film, is limited to a few counts. The duel actions are up to standard, although other scenes are not so ticklish.

Viewers would probably ask themselves whether the two series could continue after this film. Well, these guys are monsters, and anything is possible!
