Towards to end of the 23 days of feeding frenzy, the Creeper (Jonathan Breck) took away farmer Jack Taggart's (Ray Wise) younger son. He was determined to kill the undefeatable Creeper. The next night, the Creeper disabled the school bus of high school players and coaches of a new champion basketball team. Minxie Hayes (Nicki Aycox) received messages from her dream, warning her and her schoolmates not to get close to where the Creeper was, and she also understood the Creeper a bit in the dream. The Creeper started to take away the passengers in the bus one by one, while the surviving kids were planning to kill the Creeper themselves. Jack received the call for help from the school bus, and he used his homemade weapon to fight the Creeper.
In real life, it has been two years since the first episode of Jeepers Creepers was released. In the film, only a few days have passed. The feel of the film is quite different from the first installment. You can hardly see the face of the Creeper in episode I. In this episode, you can clearly see the face. That limits the sense of mystery of the Creeper. Personally, I do not think it is a smart move. Also difference is that the Creeper is not invincible this time. He had to fight hard against the farmer and the school kids.
Even though I am comparing the two episodes here, it does not mean that you need to watch the first before you watch the second. Probably the only thing that you need to know is that one of the two persons who signaled Minxie to go back was the person who was killed last in the episode.
The film talks a lot about the students' conflicts and curiosities. They look a bit over-curious in their extremely dangerous situation, but the featured conflicts reveals a lot about human nature.
