Po Po (Po Po) just broke up with her boyfriend in Wuhan. They once had their song, which was a hidden track from the limited edition of Jay Chou's (a famous Taiwanese singer) old music CD. She came to Hong Kong to stay with her sister. She heard the song in the street, and she decided to search for the CD. She went to the shop of Jack (Shawn Yu) to find it. Jack was grieving for his dog's recent death. He did not have a copy, but he remembered that he sold one to a regular customer. Po Po could not get the CD from the customer, or from the person who received the CD as a gift, or from any person who were supposed to have received the CD. But, during her search, she found that people treated relationships very differently. Jack was also searching for his perfect pet, and he decided to get a pet that would outlive him. In the end, both of them found what they wanted, at where they started their search...

Both the Chinese and English titles do not reflect what the film is really about, and I believe that the wrong names could do unnecessary damages to the film. Jay Chou and the hidden track were so minor in the plot that those who would have loved the story may not be attracted to go to watch it. The plot is very refreshing, and I think both people in love and out of love would find the story very touching. Po Po the actress is sweet, and so is Po Po the role. Po Po (actress) performed very well in the film. The most unfortunate thing for her, though, is that she only knows limited amount of Cantonese and so her dialog with others were mainly a mixture of two Chinese dialects. Not too convincing, indeed. Other actors (Shawn Yu and others including Daniel Wu, David Wu, Denise Ho, and Bull) also played their roles well enough to touch the audience's hearts. Jay Chou's appearance in the film may add some value to the film, but more attractive is the animation of Po Po, Jack, and Jay Chou. The meaning of the animation is not obvious, but it does make the film even more refreshing.
