While positioned to be a kids' film, "Stuart Little 2" is too violent for children and too naive for the older audience.

The ridicule of "Stuart Little" continues in "Stuart Little 2". After the Littles "adopted" Stuart as their son, now a mouse and a bird fell in love. In fairy tales, it is okay for animal of different species for such because each species basically represent different kind of personalities, representing people, and we cannot take the idea on the surface. But in the Stuart Little series where humans made up most of the cast and basically the stories happened in reality, the idea that a mouse would fall for a bird is completely absurd.

You may fool a child. That's fine. He will learn to be smarter. However, if you teach a kid to be violent, you'd better watch out. In Stuart Little 2, Stuart took the law in his own hands. He took an arrow to the eagle's nest (literally). While it is supposed to show Stuarts' bravery, what the story is also saying is that if we think we are right then we can get a gun to kill our enermies! Very dangerous idea! And in the end, Stuart uses a plane to kill the eagle. Also, the dialogs like "he cannot tell faeces from peanut butter" (Cantonese dubbing) is not something that we want to teach our next generation.

The film is considered category I by TELA, but I can tell you that it is more like IIB. Parental guidance is strongly recommended!
