Ka (Stephy Tang) asked his father to buy a second hand Mini Cooper. Unwillingly, he bought it for her. Evans, Ka's brother, stole the car to take Ka's classmate Chili (Theresa Fu) to places, but found that the car moved at its own will. Ka found that the spirit of Marco (Edison Chan), who was a successful stockbroker before he died in a traffic accident, was controlling the car and was helping her. After a stunning performance of Ka in a basketball game against her school's archrival, Ka introduced Marco to the rest of the team of Cookies. He kept on helping them, until he remembered his previous life. He was determined to help his ex-girlfriend to survive in a surgery which was needed as a result of the traffic accident caused by him. At the verge of losing to the archrival school in a beach game day, Marco was back to help them, even though he was too weak, and he was about to leave this world as a result…

Although the film is positioned to be a Cookies film, Stephy Tang definitely stands out among the nine girls. Her part basically even overshadowed Edison's. Appointed as Cookie's captain a few months ago, Stephy showed her talent and I do think that she deserves the attention she is getting, from both Cookies' fans and her record company. Another "honorable mention" from the young lad singing group is Theresa Fu, who seemed to be as popular as Stephy in some polls on the Internet. She could have stood out because of her talent or because of the script. The rest of Cookies are not given chances to prove themselves. In any case, some of them would vanish once Cookies is disbanded.

The film is basically entertaining, although not quite meaningful. Similar to the feel of the more-than-15-year-old Happy Ghost series, also a production of Wong Pak Ming, the film features the relationship of a ghost and a bunch of girls, and the girls compete with others with the help of the ghost. Even so, the plot seems to be still fresh enough for older guys like me to enjoy (and a lot of people at my age would feel embarrassed to say they like the performance of Cookies). Having seen Cookie's appearance in the premiere, I found that the girls are a different type of entertainers in that they are like the friends of the fans (compare to those new entertainers who have "fans" being crazy for them even before the release of their music albums).

For the Cookies' fans, this is a must-see. For the others, you will probably find this film entertaining and enjoyable.
