九 龍 冰 室 －－ 前 黑 社 會 成 員 康 哥 （ 林 雪 飾 ） 以 其 兄 弟 九 紋 龍 （ 鄭 伊 健 飾 ） 名 字 命 名 的 茶 餐 廳 。

六 年 前 ， 九 紋 龍 到 泰 國 為 黑 社 會 收 數 ， 遺 下 女 友 Helen （ 莫 文 蔚 飾 ） 於 香 港 。 不 幸 地 ， 九 紋 龍 的 手 足 都 給 殺 了 ， 而 向 黑 社 會 求 救 又 遭 出 賣 ， 於 是 在 當 地 坐 牢 六 年 。 在 獄 中 ， 他 決 心 回 港 後 做 正 行 ， 與 康 哥 一 同 打 理 九 龍 冰 室 。 他 以 前 的 手 下 得 知 他 回 港 ， 紛 紛 要 他 做 首 領 ， 連 Helen 也 要 他 與 她 一 起 再 創 一 番 事 業 。 九 紋 龍 的 同 門 兄 弟 火 山 （ 呂 頌 賢 飾 ） 見 手 下 要 離 開 自 己 ， 於 是 挑 撥 九 紋 龍 與 Helen 現 任 男 友 皇 子 （ 黃 品 源 飾 ） 衝 突 ， 從 中 取 漁 人 之 利 。 九 紋 龍 結 果 會 怎 樣 ？

故 事 骨 幹 雖 然 不 錯 ， 但 似 乎 欠 缺 新 意 。 描 寫 黑 社 會 的 電 影 通 常 都 離 不 開 支 派 衝 突 、 爭 女 人 、 從 良 等 。 這 套 也 不 例 外 。 本 故 事 較 為 特 別 的 相 信 是 描 寫 九 紋 龍 與 其 六 歲 " 兒 子 " 文 兆 龍 （ 譚 偉 豪 飾 ） 的 父 子 關 係 發 展 。 至 於 九 紋 龍 與 蒙 老 師 （ 李 彩 樺 飾 ） 的 枝 節 亦 只 算 普 通 。 大 致 上 ， 故 事 是 可 以 的 ， 而 且 故 事 發 展 都 算 合 理 。 但 筆 者 下 大 喜 歡 故 事 的 結 局 。 為 甚 麼 要 改 邪 歸 正 的 黑 社 會 份 子 在 電 影 中 都 沒 有 好 結 果 的 呢 ？ 對 於 想 改 過 的 現 實 生 活 中 的 黑 社 會 份 子 來 說 ， 這 算 是 甚 麼 的 訊 息 呢 ？

演 員 的 表 現 大 致 上 都 不 錯 。 新 演 員 方 面 ， 李 彩 樺 算 是 在 水 準 之 上 ， 很 多 時 她 的 表 情 都 來 得 很 自 然 。 至 於 童 星 譚 偉 豪 的 表 現 只 屬 普 通 。 對 於 一 個 小 孩 來 說 ， 他 的 表 現 只 可 說 夠 放 ， 但 不 可 說 滿 意 。

整 體 來 說 ， 《 九 龍 冰 室 》 是 一 套 合 格 的 電 影 ， 可 以 一 看 。

Six year ago, Cool (Ekin Cheng) went to Thailand to collect money from a Thai gang for his own gang, leaving his girlfriend Helen (Karen Mok) behind. Unfortunately, his assistants were all killed, and while he was asking help from his gang, he was betrayed. So, he spent 6 years in jail there. While in jail, he decided to leave the gang and would go back to Hong Kong to lead a normal life. He worked in the cafe of Kong (Lam Suet) which was named after him, after his release. However, his former followers wanted him to be their head again. Helen also wanted to do some grand "business" with him. Volcano (Lui Chun Yin), who was at the same level as Cool's in the gang, was afraid that Cool would take away his followers, and so he set up a conflict between Cool and Helen's present boyfriend -- Prince (Huang Pin Yuan). Volcano thought he was going benefit from the conflict. Was Cool going to be fine?

The story line is okay but lack freshness. Films about triad society usually talk about conflicts among different branches, competing for women, and gangsters' changing to lead normal lives. This film is no exception. The special thing about this film is the description about the father-son relationship development between Cool and his "son" (Tam Wai Ho). The line about the relationship between Cool and Ms Mung (Rain Li) was only so so. The story on the whole is good enough. However, I am not quite impressed by the ending. Why should those gangsters who want to lead normal lives never have good endings in motion pictures? What is the message being sent to those in real life?

The cast did pretty well. For the new faces, Rain Li has done a better job than an average first-timer. Her acting was pretty natural in a lot of scenes. The acting of Tam Wai Ho was not up to expectation. He was quite open for a child, but not good enough to make the film better.

On the whole, I believe Goodbye Mr. Cool should pass in the eyes of most viewers.
