此 片 的 故 事 的 意 念 很 像 《 隔 世 救 未 來 》 的 。 在 該 片 中 ， 父 子 亦 是 經 過 無 線 電 通 話 機 超 越 時 空 地 對 話 。 所 不 同 的 是 ， 在 《 隔 》 片 中 ， 戲 中 的 父 子 改 寫 了 歷 史 ， 而 在 《 愛 》 片 中 主 角 則 接 受 了 現 實 。 而 此 片 所 說 的 ， 就 是 相 信 命 運 的 後 果 。 當 在 77 年 的 素 雲 知 道 她 的 命 運 時 ， 她 便 放 棄 追 逐 自 己 的 理 想 。 當 然 ， 在 沒 有 追 求 自 己 的 理 想 的 情 況 下 ， 她 亦 得 不 到 自 己 的 理 想 。 若 素 雲 的 決 定 並 非 接 受 命 運 ， 故 事 的 結 果 很 可 能 會 改 寫 。

若 大 家 想 所 有 韓 國 片 都 像 《 飄 流 慾 室 》 或 《 快 樂 到 死 》 一 般 另 類 的 話 ， 《 愛 的 空 間 》 會 將 你 的 看 法 改 變 。 筆 者 覺 得 《 愛 》 片 應 會 適 合 一 般 香 港 觀 眾 的 口 味 。 以 前 看 如 上 述 所 說 的 韓 國 片 時 ， 筆 者 都 會 問 自 己 韓 國 文 化 是 否 與 香 港 的 完 全 不 同 。 看 了 《 愛 》 片 後 ， 筆 者 覺 得 那 差 別 並 沒 有 之 前 所 想 的 那 麼 大 。

此 片 可 能 會 令 各 位 觀 眾 對 命 運 的 看 法 有 所 思 索 。 無 論 如 何 ， 筆 者 覺 得 很 多 香 港 觀 眾 都 會 喜 歡 這 部 電 影 的 。

Souen was having a crush on Donlee. She somehow got a HAM radio and she started to play with it. In call on her with his own radio and they started chatting. As time went by, they found out that they were actually living 23 years apart. They also found out that they were related: Souen's once best friend was In's mother, and Donlee was In's father! Souen has devastated, and she needed to decide on what to do with his crush on Donlee.

The story is definitely "inspired" by the story of another film. I found that the idea very similar to "Frequency", in which a father communicated with his son in different time and they changed history with what the son knew would happen. In Ditto, no history was changed. And, this is what the film is all about: acceptance of one's own destiny (as if destiny exists). Back in 1977, Souen heard something from 2000 that something was going to be her destiny, and she believed in it. As a result, she gave in, and she got what she thought she would get. In this story, the destiny could surely be changed had Souen made a different decision. Again, that is what the film is all about.

If you think that all Korean films are like Isle or Happy End, this film is going to change your mind. I find that the film would suit the taste of many Hong Kong viewers. Of course, the majority of us would still have to depend on the sub-titles to understand the film, but the way that the story is told is much more pleasing than the two films I mentioned above. I asked myself after watching those two: Is the Korean culture really different than ours? After Ditto, maybe I should say: not much.

The film's story is something that we need to put some thoughts in. I hope you would find this film as inspirational, or at least as entertaining, as I find it.
