這 是 一 部 真 人 真 事 改 編 的 故 事 。 Andy Kauffman (Jim Carrey 飾) 是 一 個 在 美 國 有 名 的 諧 星 。 他 往 往 給 觀 眾 驚 喜 。 可 惜 ， 他 往 往 亦 只 顧 娛 樂 自 己 而 忽 略 了 觀 眾 。 當 他 患 了 肺 癌 後 ， 連 他 身 邊 的 人 亦 以 為 他 在 惡 作 劇 。 最 後 經 過 在 Carnigie Hall 演 出 最 後 一 場 表 演 後 他 便 死 了 。
This film is based on a true story. Andy Kauffman (Jim Carrey) was a famous comedian in the US. He always made surprises to the audience. However, a lot of times his acts only entertained himself and his partner Bob. When he got lung cancer, even people closest to him did not believe in him, thinking that it was only a prank. At last, he died of his sickness, after his final show in the Carnigie Hall.

Andy Kauffman 是 一 個 不 太 多 人 了 解 的 演 員 。 這 齣 戲 亦 未 能 將 他 未 為 人 知 的 一 面 披 露 ， 算 是 有 點 失 敗 。 若 您 不 知 Andy Kauffman 是 誰 ( 一 如 大 部 份 香 港 人 )， 您 可 能 覺 得 這 齣 戲 有 點 悶 。
Andy Kauffman was a comedian that people did not quite understand, as I was told. I think this film does not reveal much more of him. That is kind of a failure. If you don't know Andy Kauffman, like most of other Hong Kong people, you would probably find this film not interesting.

優 Excellent

Jim Carrey 在 此 片 中 有 突 破 的 演 出。 在 這 齣 戲 中 ， 他 不 再 是 以 誇 張 的 動 作 來 迫 觀 眾 笑 。 他 證 明 了 他 是 一 個 有 演 技 的 演 員 。
Jim Carrey is totally different in this film. He does not exaggerate his movement like crazy this time. Instead, he proves himself that he can do better than what he did in other films.

VCD 的 包 裝 尚 算 不 錯 。
The set of VCD comes in a jewel case and a well-printed jacket. Not too bad.

畫 面 方 面 並 不 理 想 。 中 文 字 幕 常 常 模 糊 不 清 ， 亦 常 常 錯 漏 百 出 ， 如 常 常 把 "Saturday Night Life" 和 " 大 衛 牙 刷 騷 " 兩 個 節 目 混 淆 。
The quality of the image is a bit disappointing. Also, the Chinese sub-title is sometimes not visible and is wrong in a lot of cases, like it mixed up the TV programs "Saturday Night Live" and "Late Show with David Letterman".

筆 者 原 本 想 給 這 齣 戲 高 一 點 的 評 分 ， 但 因 這 是 一 個 關 於 香 港 人 並 不 熟 識 的 一 個 藝 人 的 故 事 ， 香 港 人 大 多 不 會 喜 歡 。 筆 者 想 ： 若 筆 者 先 在 互 聯 網 上 找 尋 Andy Kauffman 的 資 料 才 看 這 齣 戲 ， 筆 者 可 能 會 比 較 喜 歡 它 。
I would love to rate the film higher than average. But since it is about the true story of a man who most of us don't know, I think that not many of us would like it. In fact, I think I would like this film more if I have search on the Internet who Andy Kauffman is.
