小Q確是一個難得的朋友, 他不會以你的身份地位樣貌財富作擇友條件;只要你成為他的朋友後,他必會毫無保留的愛護你---當你有煩惱, 他必會耐心聆聽; 當你開心的時候, 他亦會高興得手舞足蹈, 當你遇上危險, 他更毫不猶豫上前保護你….從他身上看到了無條件的愛及尊重…你希望認識這樣的朋友嗎?
故事大綱
小Q是一隻拉布拉多犬，身上流著優秀的導盲犬血統. 相對其他的兄弟姊妺, 小Q確是與別不同, 他身上有個特別的胎記----像小鳥展翅的記號, 因此他的養父母給他改名為小Q ( 即鳥的羽翼的意思). 小Q不久就被挑選成導盲犬，正式展開犬隻訓練中心的艱辛生活。在陌生的環境裡，身邊有很多陌生的狗隻，訓練員並不像舊主人般和藹可親，但開朗的小Q無畏無懼，樂觀地面對每一項訓練。今天，牠畢業了，小Q終於成為一隻真正的導盲犬。
小Q的第一個「主人」是渡邊先生。渡邊先生是個頑固的傢伙，天生不喜歡狗，認為盲公竹比導盲犬可靠得多了。但經過長時間的相處，渡邊先生被小Q無私的愛打動了，不管是散步、逛街、爬山… 小Q都會帶領渡邊先生安全回家，有渡邊先生的地方，總會有小Q的身形陪伴左右。渡邊先生在小Q陪同下, 開始感覺到微風的溫柔,花香的甜美,了解生活的樂趣…。可惜好景不常, 一天，小Q要面臨他人生第一次的離別…

Quill - a Labrador Retriever - 's life as a 'dog' drastically changed when he was chosen and forced to leave his mother for a 'seeing-eye dog' training center.
Little did he know that he would later meet a strange man who would become his owner/partner. The gentle Quill was teamed up with a man who first refused to take a seeing-eye dog as a company. An incident occurred which caused this seemingly completely incompatible man and dog to come to reply on each other, and begin to work together. This was their first step in becoming 'life partners.'
When he walked with Quill, his partner felt the wind and could see the sky through Quill. The bond between Quill and his partner, who rediscovers the joy of life, grew deeper with each passing by...Until one day, they faced a sudden and sorrowful parting...
