Bear's Kiss
故事大綱
她是馬戲團的空中飛人，每天都要在半空中翻飛。
他是一隻能夠改變外形的熊，在兩個世界之中自由穿梭。
他問她﹕「你想要的是人，還是熊？」
「兩個都想要。」她說。
在西伯利亞的草原上，他們曾經有一段快樂的日子。
直至某一天，他為了護她而錯手殺了一個人……
本片根據西伯利亞一個古老傳說改編而成，由當代俄羅斯大導演Sergei BODROV 親自操刀，穿越法國、德國、瑞典、意大利、西班牙等地，為您帶來一幅幅與別不同的歐洲風情畫。
導演的話
月圓之夜，地點是西伯利亞的森林。某人在火邊跳著舞，我不知道他是誰… 甚至不知他究竟是人是鬼？「我的父親是一隻熊，」他這樣高歌著，聲音深沉而詭秘。「我是一個變形人。」
我在西伯利亞出生，自小便聽到很多關於熊的傳說。2002年的夏天，我帶著幾隻熊和幾位演員，由俄羅斯去到西班牙，幾乎橫跨整個歐洲大陸。當拍攝完成，我們的旅程亦告終結，有一個問題卻在腦海中揮之不去﹕究竟這個故事是真是假？
「沒有甚麼大不了嘛 ~」一個吉卜賽人這樣告訴我，「我們經常遇見這樣的事情噢，有次我愛上了某個男人，誰知道他竟是一隻臭猴子！」
那首歌，再一次在我耳邊響起。
關於導演 Sergei BODROV
1948年在俄羅斯 (當時仍稱為蘇聯) 出生，於俄羅斯電影學院VGIK畢業，不久便在哈薩克電影廠展開其導演生涯，間中亦會到歐美各大學當客席講師。迄今已執導過十一部電影，亦不時參與其他電影的編劇工作，並在96年獲得最佳歐洲編劇大獎。

導演Q & A
你是如何構思出這齣電影？
我在西伯利亞出世，從小便接觸到很多野生動物，例如熊和老虎，關於牠們的傳說也聽了很多。當我長大了，有機會到世界各地見識的時候，我發現「變形人」的傳說並不是西伯利亞的專利﹕北美洲和非洲的土著都有類似的傳說。現在回想起來，《Bear's Kiss》有某種程度的世界性。
除此之外，我一直想拍一齣關於旅程的故事，電影中的馬戲團就是一個絕佳的題材。拍攝的同時可以遊覽整個歐洲，對我們來說是一件妙不可言的事。無可否認，費里尼的作品《大路》(1956)，對這部電影影響深遠。
你過去的作品，很多時候都會觸及一些社會和政治問題，好像《Freedom is Paradise》、《Prisoner of the Mountains》等等。今次採用一個傳說作為電影主題，是否有意避開某些現實問題？
我經常問自己﹕下一步應該做甚麼？我發現自己鍾情於某些人類共通的主題，這種感覺愈來愈強烈。當然，每個故事都要有一個立足點，所以《Bear's Kiss》的故事在俄羅斯開始，亦在俄羅斯終結。雖然這個故事已相傳了百多年，但現在仍然很奏效。
你的熊演員有否為攝製工作帶來麻煩？
我愛熊，縱使牠們有危險的一面。為了配合拍攝，我們找來了幾隻熊演員，再加上一位出色的訓練員 ---- Yuri Alexandrov先生，整個過程大致順利。原本我們打算八月開鏡，但問題來了，我們找不到小熊！因為全世界的熊都會在春天前生育，你絕不可能在秋天見到小熊。沒辦法，我們只好等到春天才拍攝。
電影強調「讓熊自由自在地生活」。當我們拍攝森林的場面時，訓練員帶來了三隻熊演員。看見牠們沒有籠子、沒有頸圈、沒有口罩，我不禁有點擔心﹕牠們會逃脫，返回屬於牠們的地方嗎？訓練員說﹕牠們可以的。
拍攝完畢，牠們沒有絲毫逃走的跡象﹕牠們與我們在一起。

Bear's Kiss
She was 14. She flew on a trapeze and danced with a bear.
He was a bear … a shape shifter who could move between two worlds.
"Do you want me or do you want your bear?" he asked.
"I want you both" she answered.
For a while they were happy together.
Until he killed a man to protect her.
Director's Comment
Full moon...Siberian forest. A shaman dances near the fire. I don't know who he is...a man or an animal. "My father was a bear", the shaman sings in his deep throated voice. "I'm a shape-shifter".
I was born in Siberia. I have been thinking about this story for many years. Last summer I was on the road with my bears and actors, traveling across Europe from Russia to Spain. At the end of the road I didn't know if the story was real or not.
"That's not a big deal", an Andulusian Gypsy told me, "We're used to such things. I loved a man once. He was a monkey!" And I remembered the shaman's song.
Don't be afraid to believe.
About the Director:
SERGEI BODROV was born in Russia on 28 June 1948. BEAR'S KISS is his twelfth feature film. Sergei Bodrov graduated from the All-Union State Institute of Cinema (the master class of Paramonova and Fokina). Amongst his best-known titles are: FREEDOM IS PARADISE, winner of the Best Film award at the 1989 Montreal Film Festival; I WANTED TO SEE ANGELS and PRISONER OF THE MOUNTAINS, which amongst many other international awards won an Academy Award nomination for Best Foreign Language Film in 1996. His most recent film is THE QUICKIE, a USA/German production which is currently in post-production. Sergei Bodrov has written or co-written a number of films for others, including the acclaimed EAST-WEST by Régis Wargnier.

About the Cast:
Sergei Bodrov Jr.
Born in 1971. Sergei Bodrov, Jr studied arts. His debut leading role was in his father's film Prisoner of the Mountains where he was acting against Oleg Menshikov. Having no special actor's training Sergei's acting was amazingly natural and talented. That role caused further proposals from other filmmakers. His charming character, Danila Bagrov from Alexei Balabanov's Brother has become a kind of "the hero of our time". His role in Brother-2 has had a storm of response from film critics and the press. It was a great box-office success too. Sergei Bodrov participated, as the protagonist, in the joint Russian-French project East-West by Regis Wargner and later in Paul Pavlikovsky's Stringer. He has recently tried his hand in film directing. His film Sisters is on the Young Cinema Program of the 23rd Moscow Film Festival.

Rebecka Liljeberg
Born in 1981, she began acting in a TV series at the age of nine. She has since acted on stage, on TV and in such films as Sherdil and Richard Hobert's Dar Regnbagen Slutar. But she is best known internationally for her starring role in Lukas Moodysson's Fucking Amal, which won her the Golden Beetle Award for Best Actress in Sweden.
