Headline One
An international exhibition for jewelry is held annually in Hong Kong, robberies and thefts are reported every year. Sor-row, a senior news reporter believed that he might be able to write an attractive story about this function, so, together with other reporters from different press, he kept an eye closely at this event, hoping that he could get something first-handed and stunning to write his headline story. At the same time, this exhibition brought to the police much pressure, a senior and experienced inspector, Officer Mak was ordered to be the in-charge of the security team, so as to prevent crimes happen during the exhibition.
Officer Mak met a model at the exhibition hall, he was seduced and thus flirted with the girl. The affair let the criminals make good use of this chance to steal. Sor-row suspected the theft was caused by the carelessness of the responsible staffs, so he tried all means to investigate into the case. After trying several risky and dangerous ways, Sor-row finally discovered the truth and figured out the critical person, Officer Mak. To the police, it became the pain in the ass, they tried all methods to stop Sor-row from revealing the truth, but failed. Officer Mak found no way out but committed suicide. Sor-row regretted deeply, he didn't write the truth but let the dead rest in peace and in honor.
Headline Two
A girl was indecent assaulted by some triads, her classmate Wai tried to save her from the triads but was injured eventually. The Police caught the suspected mobs, but surprisingly, Wai didn't want to witness the suspects. This story aroused the interest of Joey, she thought that there must be something behind the story, so she approached the school for an interview but was refused.
Joey later received a direct call from Wai, they made an appointment and this made Joey knowing that Wai was also a triad member. Wai was only 17, he was sophisticated but lonely, he was longing for a friend to talk with. After getting along with Wai for few days, Joey found that Wai was actually a lovely and charming person, she was lightly moved. Wai actually was a killer of the gang, he lived to kill. During his last mission, Joey was accidentally found at the scene, Wai didn't want to drag Joey into trouble, he was then unable to escape but murdered instead.
Joey suffered great pain after her boyfriend's death, she thus wrote the story of Wai and herself, this story changed Sor-row's prejudice against her, and won the attention of the public as well.
Headline Three
A 13 years old boy was sent to hospital after being crashed in a traffic accident, a rookie reporter Peter was ordered to interview the kid, and thus found a touching story behind. The injured boy lost his parents, he had a 17 years old sister and a 12 years old brother, they had a poor and broken family. The elder sister had to support the whole family, she made money and had to take care of the crippled youngest brother. However, they didn't yield, the girl swore to get a degree, the youngest brother could draw well, but their ego didn't allow Peter to write anything about their poverty. Peter attempted again and again but failed.
At last, Peter knew their story from a third party, he wrote an article about the orphans and it won the sympathy from the public. Peter thought it might help the kids, but out of his expectation, since the elder sister was below 18, her brothers were thus forced to live in the orphanage. Their family was then broken. Peter felt sorry for what he mistakenly did, he tried to do some remedy for this sad matter¡K At last, with the help from Sor-row and Joey, the kids' family was united with joy. Peter wrote this as the headline story and it made all papers sold out quickly. With the assistance from many kind-hearted citizens, the three kids were able to live a better life.
After each interview, all reporters can be able to learn something or to be inspired about life, the three reporters, though they are tired, they are supposed to face another challenge on the next morning after a little rest.
